During the coming weeks, we are working on a rough structure of the categories and forums of the forthcoming academici-network.
The basic structure will be threefold:
a) Open Forums for the main academic disciplines, scholar's organizations, Universities, Libraries, Museums, Publishing Houses ...
b) Closed Forums for Research Projects, Organizations ...
c) Open Forums for Knowledge Transfer, Sponsoring/Fundraising, Business to Higher Education, Students, Life Style
The Open Forums for the main academic disciplines [under a)] will be peer reviewed by the moderators of these Forums. Applications for the creation of such Forums and for becoming Moderators of them are taken from now on the following basis. Applicants suggest:
* a title for the requested Forum
* a short title for the Forum
* choose one of the categories below (either a discipline or one of the other categories)
* a short proposal for the Forum (if you choose a discipline as a category, we'll ask two peers for reviews which we will pass on to the applicants for consideration)
* in short your personal/scholarly background for proposing this Forum
* a rough estimate about the expected number of members of this Forum
* name at least one co-moderator who is member of the present academici-tribe on tribe
* indicate your personal aims with this proposal
* a rough estimate of the time you would like to invest into running the Forum
